Must Have

• Hands-on cyber defence / SOC leadership experience.
• Recent experience leading major cyber incident response.
• Strong SIEM/XDR, EDR, SOAR and detection engineering experience.
• Strong understanding of cloud security, particularly AWS.
• Experience with threat hunting and MITRE ATT&CK.
• Experience managing an outsourced SOC/MSSP.
• Proven ability to build and lead high-performing security teams.
• Strong communication skills across technical and senior stakeholder levels.

Nice to Have

• Experience within a regulated industry.
• Gambling, financial services, payments or similar sector experience.
• Experience across hybrid cloud and on-prem environments.
• Familiarity with Microsoft security and identity technologies.
• Practitioner-led security certifications such as GIAC, OSCP, CRTO or equivalent.
• Experience working with Palo Alto security technologies.
